Review: The staff was cordial and knowledgeable---Restrooms were clean with individual cloth towels, and the attractive table settings included slightly starched table cloths, freshly arranged flowers and candles. Chairs were comforable---and the dining room contained quality fuirnishings---this should be a top rated restaurant. Order: Beef tips and Tilapia--- Both dishes were hot when served, cooked to perfection, and attractively presented. Including a gin and tonic and a strawberry martini, warm bread with garlic butter, large salad, choice of side dishes, wine, desert and coffee, the total was $34 for each person. Meals other that Valentine's day range from $12 to $24.

Lilli a French Bistro
Lilli is a bistro in Franklin, NC serving classic and contemporary French cuisine in a comfortable and casual environment. The Chef is Jeffrey Forrest who has a combined experience of 25 years and has worked at some of the finest restaurants in the U.S. including Zoe, Aureole, Gotham, 9 Jones Street, Nosmo King, and at the original Le Cirque in New York under Daniel Boulud and Sylvain Portay. He is also the previous owner and chef of Crush in Jacksonville, FL which was voted “Best Restaurant Period” by Jacksonville Magazine’s readers’ poll. The menu changes often (sometimes daily) due to the availability of products that are local, seasonal, fresh and of the highest quality. “We are proud to support our local farmers and bakers and also import specialized ingredients that are unavailable in western NC. We are currently serving fruits and vegetables from Great Smokey Mountain Fish Camp, Deal Farms, Osage Farms & Artisan bread from Riverblaze Baking Co.” –Chef Jeffrey Forrest.
